The Smorgasbord

Since I only update following the weekend...I decided to follow my same ol' pattern, and it was an excellent one! Saturday we headed to a family friend's wedding and got to stop and see my grandpa in between the ceremony and the reception. It was a good time. State rocked the house, Michigan rocked the house, and all was well in the football world. The reception was a blast, since we didn't know too many people, the dancing was even more entertaining than usual. We even learned how to dance the polka...although I'm sure it wasn't up to snuff. See pic. below...and yes, drinks sloshing in your tummy while you spin in circles is a bit of a challenge. ;) But the opportunity to dress up was fun.

Sunday was also a lucky one for us, we got some time to just chill with Britta, Ben and baby. A really nice relaxing afternoon, Barrett curled up on Rex's chest and slept for a pretty good chunk of time. It was awesome. We then had to rush home and get ready and geared up for our engagement pics. It was a riot, but it's tough work being a model, you'll see what we mean when we post them. ;) We both keep praying they turned out okay, and that we don't have totally cheesy smiles the whole way through them.
