Another New Year

Riley's new santa suit, complete with a hood...SO cute...

After a nice 11 day vacation from the city, we rolled into a snow covered GR yesterday afternoon. Most of the day was spent watching the rest of the U of M game and lazily unpacking the mass of items that accumulated from our extended trip. We meant to come back the 27th...but ended up hangin' around 'til the 1st and were glad we did. It was a great holiday run, lots of friends and family, and spirits. A few of the highlights included: family Christmases-dinners-game nites, visits with out of town friends (Kate, Beth, Randy, Eric, Rachel, Kelly, Jason, and Lauren), a new party game "You got served"- yes it's as cheesy as it sounds, SNOW, the Christmas miracle of our cat coming back after 13 hours missing on Christmas day, getting to run pretty much every day, family in general, iPods, three buck chuck, leaving the city for over a week, my cousin having her baby!!!, lots of laughter, and general happiness. Sigh. So many excellent moments. Still struggling to get back into the flow of things and shake out the laziness cobwebs. Rex headed back to work today, I've got just Thursday and Friday. On Monday classes and such start again...FINAL SEMESTER whaaaaat! I'm a bit nervous, but overall excited for April to get here. As usual, I didn't take many pics from the week...which is unfortunate because there were some hilarious moments. Ah well, that just brings me to one of my New Years resolutions...take more pictures! We'll see if I can keep that one. I sure hope so! Happy New year everyone, and here's to hoping 2008 will be a good one!!

Having no fun at all playing spoons....
