The Smorgasbord

So, we're almost there. The end stretch is coming up, well...way faster than it should be! Lots has been happening, and SO much is going to happen in the next ten days. Today marked the first official day the big day showed up on the 10 day weather forecast at the weather chanel. Since I'm in love with the weather chanel, I will probably be checking and re-checking the weather at least twice a day from here on out. Last weekend we got to spend a relaxing 3 day weekend in paradise, it was fun to forget how close the wedding is getting, and just do stuff non-related to wedding planning and school. There was an awesome shower thrown for Rex and me while we were up there-courtesy of Britta, Joss, Trina, and Erica. LOTS of yummy food, actually that seemed to be the trend of the weekend, well, that and good times! We even got to make a trip to the E.R. for Rex's gashed foot, no stitches, but a tetanus shot and no swimming for him for the weekend. But overall it was great to get away, can I say that enough? We can't wait to go up there again, as always. This weekend is going to be a busy one, my brother is playing in the State tennis tournament tomorrow and Saturday as well if they advance. Saturday and Sunday we have weddings to attend, Rex is in one of them. Then Monday nite, my brother graduates. Craziness...and to top it off school, work and....

Wedding stuff!!-tomorrow is my trial up-do and make up run. We got our final counts in, to the caterer and cake lady. Started writing thank you notes already...met with our officiant to go over the ceremony, finally set a rehersal dinner time and location, ordered the booze, I'm working on the DJ stuff, and from there it's just bits and pieces to finish off. Whew. Can't wait to breathe again! Can't wait to see everyone and party next weekend! Adios for now....
